This paper summarises the half-day workshop on national and regional portals, organised by RIS Synergy project for CRIS2022 conference. The goal of was to discuss challenges opportunities research portals with representatives six different implementation projects. In an expert panel talk, participants shared their experiences initiation national/regional portal. Moderated questions also addressed various topics such as target groups, stakeholders, technical specifications standards. contributes international collaboration portal operators promotes exchange lessons learned.
